About
Plays International
Plays International is a London-based theatre magazine published bi-monthly.
It reports on London's West End stage and on the London fringe in
the form of illustrated reviews and comprehensive listings. It also
has lively in-depth interviews with dramatists, directors and actors
involved in upcoming productions.
In addition, there are illustrated Newsletters from across the United
Kingdom on theatre in the UK regions. A detailed UK Regional Theatre
guide tells you what's on across Britain. The Preview column gives
details what is coming on the country's stage in the coming months
and productions are listed in the UK Openings sections.
Plays International reports bi-monthly as well on theatre across Europe
in its European section. There are Newsletters from Dublin to Moscow
taking in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan, Rome and
Budapest most months. The North American section carries reports
of US theatre across North America from New York and Washington
to Los Angeles and San Francisco and from Chicago to Toronto and
Vancouver. There are occasional reports too from as far afield as
Israel and Australia.
If you want to know what's happening on the world's stages,
Plays International is indispensable.
Plays International was founded in January 1984 and is now owned
and published by The Performing Arts Trust. The Trust is a non-profit-making charity
whose objectives are to increase public understanding and enjoyment
of the performing arts and to assist performing artists in their
training...
